The Institute of Radioelectronics (IRE) is one of the three Institutes of the Faculty of Electronics of the Military University of Technology. It consists of three departments:
- Department of Radioelectronic Systems
- Remote Sensing Department
- Microwave Department
The Institute of Radioelectronics currently employs forty-three people (including one professor, eight university professors, twelve assistant professors, nine assistants, five senior lecturers, three engineering staff and five administrative and technical staff).
